Discover your stressors, help yourself.

Long-term heart rate variability analysis made simple - understand what is good for you and makes you feel better.

Welcome to the HRV Inspector. An app specialized in recording and analyzing heart rate variability and designed to give you valuable insights to improve your health and fitness.

First, a little video, if you like ...

So now let's dig a little deeper.
I will explain you step by step what this is all about. First of all, one important question ...

Are you even in the right place?

well, you are, if you can answer one of the following questions with "Hell YES"

You do not feel well

Are you sick? Are you not well? Do you suffer from a chronic health problem? Can't anyone help you? Your symptoms are diffuse. You have already run from doctor to doctor? Maybe the Hrv Inspector can bring you a new approach or at least a better understanding of your body.

You want to improve yourself?

Always looking for ways to improve yourself and work on your well-being? You want to reach new goals, optimize and "biohack" yourself?

So what is your answer? If it's "no", then have a nice day. Probably the HRV Inspector is not right for you. Otherwise, let's move on.

What is Heart Rate Variablity?

And what the heck is this all about ...

1. Basics

The basis is quite simple: no heart always beats the same beat. The more variable the intervals between heartbeats are, the better you feel. If the intervals are only small, your body is in physical or mental stress.

2. Widely accepted

HRV measurements are recognized and their validity has been proven in thousands of studies. Doctors offer corresponding analyses. Manufacturers of smartwatches incorporate corresponding features into their products.

3. Continuously measuring

When you measure your HRV continuously, you get to know your body better. You will find that the objective values reflect how you feel.

4. Learn and improve

Now is the time to learn. Analyze the results. Test out what helps you and what hurts you - objectively. Which products or techniques help your body and lead to an improvement.

You're still at it. Awesome, then let's talk about the app.
Technically

How does it work?

Well, first of all quite simple ...

The app connects to a Bluetooth device that measures heart rate and, in particular, the intervals between two heartbeats (the so-called "beat-to-beat interval").

So very important: You need an external heart rate monitor

The Bluetooth device sends the data to the app and the app analyzes and calculates. Important: All data stays on the device, absolutely nothing goes to the cloud!

Different modes

There are different modes. In live mode, there is a constant connection to the heart rate monitor. If you use the Polar H10 Burst belt, it can also record the data independently of the smartphone.

Absolute recommendation

The Polar H10 chest strap is virtually the gold standard for private heart rate measurement. Although the HRV Inspector also works with other devices that send the beat-to-beat intervals via Bluetooth standard, it is absolutely optimized for the H10.

Features

What does HRV Inspector offer?

Long term analyses

Observe the course of your values throughout the day if you wish. Not only selectively, which unfortunately brings not much.

Stand alone recording

If you use Polar H10, HRV Inspector can start, stop and transfer recordings. During recording, the smart phone does not need to be nearby.

Live & real time

Observe what is going on inside you. The distance of each heartbeat to each other. Track the values in real time while you try to relax, for example.

Detailed Analysis

HRV Inspector offers you a wide range of possibilities to analyze your data and monitor its progress. All important key figures are available to you.

If you're still on board, I'll show you some impressions of the app now.
How it starts

Your Options

Connect to the heart rate monitor, view your values in live mode, start or stop recordings and analyze your data.

not need for your phone

Recording

You can start, stop or transfer recordings to the app. During recordings, the smartphone does not need to be nearby. If you want, you can record a whole day at once. The recommendation is to limit recordings to 1-2 hours. You can tag the individual recordings and analyze them later.

charts baby ...

Analyze

Analyze your records in detail. Individually or via the daily summary. Keep track of all important HRV values. View the basic data in the Beat-To-Beat chart and follow the development over the entire duration. Filter the recordings by tags and view their history or look at the entire history since the first recording. Hopefully you'll see a gradual improvement here!

See it in action...

Enough words. Here's what you get.

Any questions? Maybe they will be answered here.

Frequently asked quetions

Android is just the start and development is also planned for IOS. One thought in this order was that Android devices are very cheap. If you really want to use the app but are an iPhone user, a fully adequate device will only cost you round about 50 Euros. The development was carried out on a ZTE A5 2019, for example.
The app is currently available for free in the Appstore with all functions. However, it is not excluded that some features will be available only in a paid premium mode in the future.
Not at all. You get used to it absolutely quickly and the knowledge gain is absolutely worth wearing. No one notices the belt unless you like to run around bare-chested. ;-).
well, i think that's it.

Are you convinced?

Hopefully! Then here comes the next step!

Get it from the Google Play Store soon. Apple will follow later this year.
